Opera Australia’s Young Artists invite you to immerse yourself in the rich world of Russian art song —where poetry and music intertwine to reveal the soul of a vast and passionate culture. From the elegance of Glinka to the sweeping emotional landscapes of Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov, this recital explores the beauty, melancholy, and depth of expression of Russian poetry and song.
As part of the preparation for roles and understudies in Eugene Onegin next year, the Young Artists offer you a rare opportunity to experience a program of evocative miniatures, each one a window into the poetic heart of Russian Romanticism.
